Have you seen Zoella on YouTube? Have you read her book  Girl Online?

Zoella is a famous vlogger, aged 24 from England, who deals with a variety of topics - from how to wear make-up to how to deal with anxiety. Zoella has 6 million YouTube subscribers, 3.5 million Instagram followers and 2.5 million Twitter followers.

Her first novel, Girl Online, has been translated to over 21 languages, and Rily are about to publish a Welsh adaptation by Eiry Miles of Zoe Sugg's popular book. It'll be available today, in fact - Friday, 27 October - just in time for a wet and windy half-term break!

"Penny has a secret. Under the alias Girl Online, Penny blogs her hidden feelings about friendship, boys, school, her crazy family and the panic attacks that have begun to take over her life. When things get bad, her family takes her to New York, where she meets Noah, a gorgeous American boy. Suddenly Penny is falling in love - and capturing every moment of it on her blog. But Noah has a secret, too, one that threatens to ruin Penny's cover - and her closest friendship - forever."

The original book, Girl Online,  was a  New York Times  bestseller, and is suitable for ages 12-16. There hasn’t been a huge amount of reading material in the Welsh-language market aimed at this age range, so this is a highly anticipated publication.

"YouTuber Zoella relates to young adults in this social media obsessed world. This outstanding book covers all of the issues you might face as you approach adulthood - relationships, insecurity, anxiety, and even falling in love! It is a MUST read!" says Lynda Tunnicliffe from Rily.

"As a company, we are thrilled and proud to have been able to publish this special novel in Welsh, and Eiry Miles was a natural choice for the adaptation work."

As the clocks go back this weekend, why not spend the extra hour with your nose in a book?  Merch Ar-lein  will be available to buy from your local Welsh bookshop.
