Forget your Mills and Boon romances – the Welsh Books Council is looking for couples of all ages across Wales who can thank books in some way for making their lives complete. As part of the celebrations to mark the launch of the Quick Reads / Stori Sydyn titles for 2012, a competition has been launched to find Wales’s most romantic readers. The winners will be announced at a special event at the Senedd in Cardiff Bay on the Welsh Valentine’s Day (Dydd Santes Dwynwen), 25 January 2012, and at Llanddwyn on Anglesey, the spiritual home of the Dwynwen legend. The first prize in the competition will include a bundle of books and a romantic break for two at a luxury hotel in Wales.
