Rhobert ap Steffan of Llangadog, Carmarthenshire, is the lucky winner of the competition that appeared in the Books Council’s supplement of Christmas titles, Gwledd y Nadolig. He will now have the opportunity to enjoy his prize – a well-deserved holiday.
 
The competitors had to answer four questions, and Rhobert’s entry was amongst the hundreds of correct answers received at the Books Council offices in Aberystwyth.
 
The competition was sponsored by Caernarfon-based travel company, Seren Arian, and Rhobert will receive a holiday voucher so that he can choose his own destination.
 
‘The book supplements that we produce are very popular with the readers,’ said Phil Davies, Head of Marketing at the Books Council.  ‘We had an excellent response to the competition and we are extremely grateful for the sponsorship from Seren Arian once again this year.’
